The battery on my Def 110 is reading 12.7v, anyone know if that means it's fully charged or not? Shouldn't a fully charged battery read 13v?

Mine read 11.7v when it was knackered and it had to be replaced. Green Flag call out man reckoned 12.66v was fully charged, so I would say at 12.7v its fully charged.

I take it thats an as is charge - without any drain or charge going either way.
whats your running charge without load in the system,
should be another half a volt at least...

Very few batteries will show 13.2 volts when settled.

12.6 to 12.7 is about the norm to be fair.

;)

but as I never used a more modern battery as fitted to cars such as moondaos with better then lead acid batteries, then they may show a high at rest voltage eh

Correct:)

With engine running at idle whilst stationary its 14.1v, thats without any load such as lights etc.

So 12.7v when parked on driveway, and 14.1v with engine running.

That's normal. Fitted 4 alternators this week to a few vehicles all read 14.2 running and about 12.6-7 when off.
