No it means the batteries knackered i would think. Shunt test it to check for a failed cell.

How long is the glow lamp on for? ECU switches glows on subject to temp reading from ECU temp sender. They vary in time subject to engine temp. Maybe you have a couple of duff glow plugs.

Right put battery back on charge last night so in total it had 56+hrs The battery has now settled at 13.2v so think the new charger reading is fubar. The battery was just slowly bubblin when it was on charge.

Hi wammers glow light only on for 3 to 4 seconds at a time. Glow plug changed June last year for bosch ones.
