Hello on this lovely day in Scotland...
Decided to change the barrel locks on my 110 today and noticed that the orange plastic piece that clips onto the end of the barrel was split,But decided to use it and true to form it bloody broke......
Can anyone give me a part number for this or tell me what its called.....

HI...thanks for that....Was very close but not quite....found out a friend of a friend has some original landrover defender diagrams or something that may show it....

Not sure if you can buy em separately... I had to get a new handle to sort mine, new one is metal mind, so it won't happen again!

Funny,,I had this conversation earlier that that stupid little bit of plastic will probably cost me a whole handle or something....But the sound of metal rather than plastic sounds good...

IIRC it didn't even cost that much... Must have been reasonable otherwise I would have made do with getting in the passenger side!

Funnily enough thats what ive been doing up till now...Sometimes the pass side wont open so youll see me climbing through the back door with the shopping...

Exactly what i used to do! Then I sorted it an now my passenger side won't open from the inside!

found the handle on ebay all in with post and metal bits 16 quid...

That will be the passengers problem not mine.....Unless i have to much to drink and the wife has to drive..

Haha same with me. Although it's the interior handle that doesn't work, soi have to walk round and let the girlfriend out, cheaufer driven! Everyone else can wind the window down!
