Brilliant! I cud ave od jr up front with me and put the "mapreader" and general back seat driver facing the other way! Love it!

Ha ha. Thought it might be easier getting in & out, but still be safe for kiddies. Like I said tho', dunno what the law says about rear facing seats & kiddywinks?

I don't think the booster and baby seat will either be approved or too safe facing backwards, but when they fly the nest and the landy's still goin strong, i'll face em backwards and run dads taxi service from it!

Child seats i know are illegal on sideways facing seats, the only thing that isn't is nothing so i can legally drive the toddler round with no booster or other protection but if i want to be safe i have to mod the motor!

Nah, def' not the baby seat. Dunno how you stand wiv the booster seat tho' & it's too late ternite ter look it up. ;)

Excellent info, i guess it does have a point!

Particularly like though:
Q: "Who should ride facing backwards"
A: "Everyone"
I can see a slight safety issue there!!!

Tops! Picked up me seats...............well mine & the one I'm flogging on. Turned up & it wuz only blurry ebbadger, yer know, him with the bright orange 90 with the union flag roof, good website an' that. Anyways, another face to a name, got me forward facing fold up, good chinwag & we dun a couple of local lanes into the bargain.

Cheers chap, good to meet you & yer Mrs. ;)

No probs mate, as you say good to put another face to a name, must check in here more often as I missed this thread completely :)

and as I said if your up for some lanes when we have the DTC do in March I will give you a shout... 3 or 4 days of laning with camping thrown in, we may try and get to the plain for one of the days but we'll see how it goes.

Cheers Steve
