Hi
i put on a new ballast resistor and it burnt and broke same as the old one, there are two wires on each terminal is this correct?.

Evening Steve,
My Hybrid was fitted with a ballast resistor the body of the resistor was ceramic but it had only two spade connectors. It was wired into the feed wire from the ignition to the coil, basically it was just one wire in and one wire out. It cut the voltage at the coil down to around 7.5v chap.

Regards WP.

we used to use SH ones from a scrap mk2 tranny vans. nice HD ceramic ones.
just 2 terminals. can be mounted anywhere too.
