The easy way is to remove the shaft from the CV joint. Takes all of 15 seconds.
I found @Irishrover 's instructions excellent and easy to follow. Not heard from him in a while. Presumably he's OK and relaxing in a garden somewhere?
He got rid of all his P38 stuff and moved to Wales. Sticks his head above the parapet from time to time.

New kitchen arrived today fitting on the 6th, very happy in the caravan on the drive.
Only for cooking though. peace and quiet bolthole.

I don't understand it. Everyone seems hell bent on a new kitchen all the time. I got a solid oak one a year ago for less than a £100 quid. Just had to drive to Brum. Only just fit it all in the Rangie.

Not that big and fairly narrow but it does the job. That was flat-packed, not assembled.

Too late to come to France, if Brexit actually happens you will have to jump through all sorts of hoops and with the current exchange rate it would be very expensive too.Still alive and kicking

Lad has moved a lot of people to France and Spain over the last few years. Suppose it's one way of remaining in the EU.
