had some luck this week,ball joint gave out on tracking rod,lucky i was slowing down for a junction, no steering wot so ever, got out there was one end off tracking rod nearly on floor,,
has anyone else had this on there disco,m o t was this week bit earlyer it might have been spotted

you must have had play in steering for weeks

funny thing james,,,comming from a pajero to adisco,,i thought the steering was more responsive,,has for play there wasnt hardly any

you was lucky it wasnt worse than that ,usually i find that people expect the steering to be vague and so dont check ball joints etc,whereas if everything is in good condition steering should be positive,its not uncommon,but then how many other vehicles will last as long
