I had a look at the steering arm from the box to the relay and it needs new ball joints. I have already got new joints on the track rod and relay to wheel arm from paddocks, they only seem to do one type so hopefully they should be ok but what ball joints do I need for the arm that connects the relay to the box?
I cant find the tube in the parts book, anybody got any idea as to what the part numbers would be, one L/H and one R/H thread

I seem to remember they're all the same - 3 of each. Just make sure no one has mix and matched metric and imperial rods. They are in the book.....

Check they are the same as you take off. Some Are threaded all the way to the end and the clamp cannot tighten on to the threads which can result in something nasty. Some are shouldered.

Bobsticle they are not all the same as some of the tubes are fully threaded , older ones have no threads at the outer ends and need the shouldered track rod ends to clamp up properly. Thay also have different threads for the fixings.
Another issue the later ones are longer and are part of the reason that some people have problems with track rods catching springs.
