Hi
Just done me CV joints with a kit which sorted out the clicking problem I had. In the kit there was 2 ball joint seals which was handy as the originals were buggered. The problem is that the old seals had to be prized out with a screw driver and the new seals just fell in. Ive put the other rubber bit and 2 metal rings on top of the seal and tightened it all up but they are still leaking.
Am I missing something here or are replacement seals just not as good?
Cheers
Chris

Not sure on the make it come from paddocks

I always compare my parts with the old, particularily seals, since the bastids keep modifying them and all it takes is a call to make sure it is right. If the seals were tight on the body then the sloppy ones are fookal use since the oil will leak past between the body and the seal.

This britpart stuff seems to be **** from what I read so I certainly will be avoiding it.

You're sposed to coat the outside edge of the seal with gobbo before you fit em would this make a difference.
