Greetings Landy Lovers!

I'm new so go easy! Got me an awesome little 300 Tdi 90 which is being kitted out for a possible trek to Cape Town! Wanted to get my hands on an ARB bumper as there is nothing better to take the blow of a deranged Zebra stepping out in front of said Landy!!!!

Searched high and low and was lucky enough to find one second hand! Great I thought, until arriving and finding this chunk of steel on matey boys drive. Looks identical to an ARB, minus the extra bit of steel support for the fairlead, and circles in the uprights as opposed to ARB's larger cutout. There is also "Land rover", in it's official oval pressed into the steel.

Do any of you boffs/Fundi's know whether or not ARB were ever commisioned to build bumpers for Land rover? Nas 90's maybe? Camel trophy maybe? I'd love to know where this bad boy came from.

Many thanks and regards!

Alright!

welcome to the zone. Dont suppose you have any photos do yer? be interested to see what you have. I know that BRB bumpers are similar and were produced by goodwinch here in the UK. other similar models are TJM but its unlikely to be them. I did see one on a kitted 110 fitted by i think trek overland. Its on the inside front cover of the mags, but i dont know the manufacturer.

sounds like it could be a genuine one, very much doubt its an ARB...

This is an ARB :D
