hi guys .here i am again cant belive the trouble im having with this disc . now the damm thing has developed a vibaration noise .if i get into 5th and at 30mph so its labouring i get a massive vibaration through the whole vehicle same in 4 and 3rd only if im labouring .pick up speed and it goes .i have checked the prop bolts seam ok. and the big rubber buffer looks fine. anything else to check. this came straight on after leaving it parked on my drive for 2 days. no warning of what i can recall.

Hi Smudge, if you put it in 5th at 30mph it will labour and try to shake itself to bits. What's it like at 30mph in 3rd or 4th?
 
My auto does the same now and again.never under strain but 30 mph to bout 35 40 gives off a bad vibration.

Will keep an eye out on wat it is.
 
hi it does the same in those gears to.i know its not right .because i went into second from 1st and at 20mph started to do the same wen i say labour i dont mean like to slow for the gear were it starts to judder nearly stalling it. but just plodding along this has never done it b4 since ive had it and at the same time can here a metal tinking noise .defently shouldent be doing this. i had arange rover 200tdi and drove that the same and never had this.its as if the propshaft bolts are all lose .but this cant be as ive just not long replaced gearbox and clutch myself and renewed new propshaft bolts. so need more ideas .can it be the diffs.i have noticed wen i had the front prop off thee was quite abit of play in front diff. could something be happening there.
 
U say youve checked the propshaft bolts but have you checked the UJs on the props?
 
posted about the same problem on here not long ago the replys i got were to check the ujs the very front one was really bad replaced it now sweet as a nut and a big thanks to all who replyed
