The problem i have had so far with my landrover discovery td5 is I have to crank it over for ages before it starts then it will run ok but when I drive it down the road it just dies on me, I never know when this is going to happen as it is very unpredictable. Eventually it starts up again..newly fitted fuel pump relay, new fuel pump, checked and cleaned fuel lines, new high pressure fuel regulator, new crank shaft sensor, new fuel filter and air filter, new injection wiring harness..could anyone give me any sort of advice as i am ready to scrap it..it is a 03 plate mk2 td5. thankyou in advance.

Thanks very much brother for your advice..its an on going nightmare...also I have introduced myself I think I have done it correctly..problem I am now having is where do I go to post any problems I do have about my landrover as i tried one and it would not let me.

Try here :)

first put a new air bleed valve in the rear outer connection at the fuel filter housing(google out WJN500110), run the purging sequence(5 consecutive throttles than wait untill the MIL stops flashing)...if no joy replace the injector washers and seals

My first guess would be the bleed valves in the filter housing too. Cheap and easy part to rule out anyway before you go checking injectors
