I have a B100A-15 code on my 2011 free lander 2 ( fuel pump authorization / circuit short to power or open) I have checked the 20 amp fuse FS22, which is show as being ok, my question is can the Pump relay be changed? and if so does anyone have any details on doing this job.
thanks TK 20240115_152551.jpg

The fuel pump relay is part of the CJB, as in it's soldered onto one of the PCBs.
Don't get too hung up on codes, as starting the vehicle in the wrong way when the battery is low can set all sorts of random and irrelevant codes.

What are your symptoms?

This is a common code for mostly 2010 but mostly 2011 SD Freelander 2s. apparently it due to an upgrade of the fuel tank pump in those years. Land Rover upgraded the pump but didn't change a part of the software to reflect the upgrade. It can be ignored since although throwing a fault code I have never heard of an actual problem in real life. It's a ghost software glitch. Unless you can tell me differently

Thanks Nodge68 & I Like chips for your response.
I have had this happen twice, when I have been in stop start traffic I get no response on the throttle pedal, it does clear up and run fine. I have had the Freelander for over a year now, this fist started just after I serviced it, could it be the fuel filter giving me this fault? I have read that there could be a fault with some aftermarket fuel filters.
Thanks again TK

A fuel filter won't set a code.
The delayed throttle response isn't unheard of, but the cause can be several things.
I'd start by checking the throttle butterfly is free to move through its full range freely, without sticking or making unpleasant noises.

I like chips too :)

I also get this fault code B100A-15 on my FL2 2010 if I check it on a Launch tester. I've no issues with the car only that the Stop/Start doesn't work. Been told to change my battery which I needed one anyway and re-set that too, but the Stop/Start still doesn't work saying it has a fault if I press the button. I've been informed that the fuel pump authorisation error can cause the stop/start not to function???

Any help on this would be most welcome

HI all.
I did change the fuel filer for a Purfleet filter, it as been running now for a number of months and all seems ok.
did check the throttle body and all seems ok there, clean and free. Thanks again for every bodies input.
