Apparently the difference between my short distance and Aussie is 100 yards to 5 KM

ahhh,so aus roads are better then.
They're straighter and flatter and the "green lanes" are so much longer and more avalable. No ramblers here

At smoko call in at the servo when you go for ya crib cobba. All the words are coming back now! Them dirt tracks are fun, we had a Chevy version of a Corsa on hire, that thing used to get rallied hard! And yeah distances are funny, "just out of town" = 8 km dirt track

We didn't see any big spiders, just a redback. And a sand snake. That was it really. Got a penguin in one of the cages though!

I've already seen 2 big huntsman spiders, not a snake yet but I haven't been here a week yet so that will come
We're 5 hours from the coast so penguins are unlikely

Have you noticed the quotes have gone all weird since near the start of this page?
Apparently huntsman won't harm you, but they are big and fast lol.
If you see a penguin then start swimming I think!
