Changing an alternator on a d3 now, turning out to be quite a common fault as this is the 4th I've changed.

Bottom left o the picture, one bolt on the front, 2 on the side at te bottom of the alternator, these take abit of getting onto power cable and plug, fairly easy. I've done one start to finish in 45 minutes before :)

new?

not a huge range of dies ;).

does this mean yu can make up flexi pipes now, but yu will have to make a few to recover the investment ?

Well almost new it was bought by someone but they never paid so it was reclaimed and we got it :) it comes with all the dies but they're not here yet, we've already got 2 crimpers but this one means we can do larger pipe more easily :) yeah quite a few but I you don't invest you don't grow ;)

Last weekend I did £500 worth of hoses so it doesn't take long to get money back ;)

Not worth a new crossmember so it's just getting patched for now as the chassis is also rusting away half way down that I'm patching

Will need a galvanised one soon ..
