No its the spanner which is 14mm ( refers to the distance across the flats of a bolt) the bolt shanks ate standard 10mm I ran a plug tap down the holes before fitting the new ones.@raywin ,
I thought in your write up you wrote 14mm bihex.
If they are 10mm , which ones is the OP talking about?

The heat from grinding would help too, the bolts are treated with the blue locking compound and if you can get heat onto them it will help to break that down.I ended up having to cut the heads off a couple of these. You're then left with decent stumps to get some grip on. The vibrations from the angle grinder freed the treads up nicely.
