I don't know if you can currently get coopers. I was looking over the summer and was told that they had become part of the "America first" style of trading we are seeing across the pond instigated from the trump era and export stocks are limited. I notice you link is "on backorder". I am not questioning whether they are a good tyre just their current availability in the UK.

That makes a lot of sense as have seen Discoverer tyre prices rise over the past 4-6 months + a good number of usual tyre suppliers stating out of stock. I paid £104 each 12mths ago...they're now at £170 !!

I’ve ordered the Avon Rangemasters today.
I got them for £109 each including delivery which is think was very good.
I didn’t fancy the idea of putting a wider tyre on my 5.5 rims, plus they’re going to look right on the restoration.
Cheers all.

Did you order tubes as well? ;)

I got my local tyre place to take the old tyres off the rims for me so I can get them powder coated. They gave me the old tubes and told me to keep hold of them as they are better than I’d get now.
They were also going to get me the tyres but when I told them what I’d been quoted, they advised me to order them immediately.
They’re a very good outfit.

@congo181 glad your sorted.
I have Discoverer STT PRO on my 90 and am happy enough with them, very quiet on the road and good road manners as well, good off road with one exception, they are not very good on wet mud sideslopes. I have had a few "moments" on a couple of lanes near me. Might well be better if I aired them down first but can't be bothered these days with all that mularkey.
