Right, one was leaking so bought a refurb kit (proper AVM) but its still dripping out of one bolt on the inner side of the hub. I've tried to tweek the nuts but they are tight. I think I need to get it off, dry it all off and put a sliver of gasket sealant on the gasket, then put it back on. Can I just release the nuts holding it on and lift it off? Don't want anything springing out at me/into the bushes.

Is it dry inside around the big nut apart from a tad of grease. It should be. I'd still be concerned where this oil is coming from.

The garage changed the gaskets/seals/foam bit as it needed a wheel bearing too. They said they'd put EP90 in there so suspect that is what's dribbling out. I'll take it off at the weekend and shove some grease in.

I'm sure the felt washer/seal is to keep the oil from the axle getting out. I only have grease in the hub and the FWHs are dry. I did have oil leaking out when I first got Henry but once I'd replaced the felt and made sure everything was tickerty boo it stopped.
