Hi everyone,
I'm looking forward to purchase a 2013+ Discovery 4 SDV6 and I have a question regarding auxiliary heating. I want this option since we have plenty of months of cold days through the year and we will have a newborn next year.
I am looking to purchase a used low mileage car (around 50,000 kms or so) but when I select auxiliary heating there aren't so many of them with this option. Buying without auxiliay heating would offer me a much better variety of cars to choose from.
My question is: IF I buy a car without auxiliary heating and fit a remote starter, is it ok for the car to run for 15 minutes or so in the morning without actually moving until the cabin heats and windows defrost ?
or should I go for one factory fitted with an auxiliary heater for the health of the engine.
Thank you
