Here's a challenge for the experts.

I recently received a brand new pair of lights for my 110. They are large driving lights with chrome surround and an integral black horizontal grill in front of the lense.

The lights are designed to hang down from the underside of the padded A bar.

However, I am missing the mounting plates, I believe part no. 11494 Called sub assembly mounting plate and fixings.

This plate screws or bolts to the A bar and the light slides onto the bracket.

Has anyone got any of these plates?
Any suggestions as to a supplier?

I will try my local LR main dealer tomorrow

Many thanks

p.s. alternatively, does anyone want a brand new set of these auxillary driving lights, including padded light covers, no fixing kit or wiring kit, boxed and new with instructions.

Offers over £100

Is that one of those plasticy A-bar things from landrover? You can get a nice tubular metal one for £55, with mounting brakets welded on the back of it. Proably find its cheaper than the brackets alone from landrover.

Another option (and I know you wont want to keep hearing other options!) is to just drill straight through the top surface of the bumper and then mount the lights there. They can sometimes actually look better on the bumper than on the a-bar, it all depends on how you've customised your landy in the first place if at all.

thanks guys

my intention was to mount the lights on the front of a roof rack but the problem is the same as mounting them anywhere else.

these lights do not have a bolt on the top/bottom or anything else to mount them.

there is a plastic foot which is open at the top/bottom with a channel at both sides to slide onto the mounting bracket.

without the mounting bracket there is no way of mounting to a bumper or A bar.

i actually bought them to replace the ones i've got (starting to tarnish/rust internally) and can therefore reuse the existing mounting bracket but they are so good i would rather leave the existing lights on the A bar and fit the new ones on a LR roofrack which has 4 mounting plates at the front. Each plate has 3 holes in it, one central hole for normal bolt on spotlights and two others designed to match up with the holes in the LR spotlight mounting bracket

What I need is a small plastic bracket for each light, raised at the L and R edges to match up with the channel inside the spotlight foot. it then needs two holes in the front for the securing screws, plus obviously the two holes in the base.

many thanks
