Hi all new to here, my father in law has asked me to replace his auxilary belt and tensioner for him just wondering if anyone can give me some advice or a how to .im pretty handy with the spanners but not too certain on removing the tensioner btw he has a 2.0 diesel thx for any help offered

welcome to the forum, which 2.0 diesel does he have ?

Is it the early L series, or the later BMW Td4 unit ?

and download something called Rave CD, it's the landrover equivalent of a haynes manual, which landrover themselves us, will have a full set of instructions in the freelander section.

sorry to sound stupid but i dont know he just asked me to change them and i asked for help will ask him tomorrow am i ok to message you tomorrow for some help
