Hi All

Heater fan has bust on my 200tdi and as i'm using the disco every day, due the snow, cant take it off the road to repair it yet. Has anyone come across a good aux heater for the interior, maybe 12v? I've done a forum search and found info on FBH's but this seems and expensive option.

I used one of these on my old Patrol and i was quite pleased All Ride 12V Ceramic Heater & Fan/Blower -Car/Van/Truck on eBay (end time 06-Jan-11 18:54:33 GMT)

I got one of them, installed it, and the removed it from my Disco - too much noise with little or no heat, save your money and buy some gloves and a hat

Thanks for the feedback. Hat and gloves aren't quite enough at -6deg Biggest problem is the inside of the windscreen freezing over as your driving

know that feeling, as been minus double figures for us.

remember trying to stick the sat nav on the windscreen, wetted my finger to rub the windscreen, and finger nearly froze to the thing

If you do find a decent heater then let me know - problem is the 12v's in not really enough umph to give out good heat......
