When does it need changing.
For my RR which has a ZF gearbox, I contacted ZF in Germany, this technical guy sent an email to say, they have never said it was sealed for life
He recommended change the ATF every 50k or five years which ever comes first. The GM one I have no idea.

2010 freelander hse auto. 95k on clock
It could do with doing, at 95k, if it hasn't been done before.
