Have the following symptoms:
1) towing a car on a road trailer stopped on an slight incline and just sat there revving without moving until gradually I eased forward and got going.
2) later without a load I accelerated with the foot brake fully on and managed to get to 2500 revs before car moved forward.
3) I have changed the filter and fluid. Drained fluid looked good and Red still symptoms remain.
4) The magnet had some thin metal bits on it like a very thin wire several strands no more than paper clip size.
5) I have added some lucas autofix.
6) in addition to lack of drive I get regular flairs when changing up when I'm pushing it a bit.
Some one has suggested shuttle valves and another has said TC ..... can anyone suggest a fix ??

Ashcroft Transmissions for a re-con box and torque convertor. Sounds well beyond a DIY fix.
