Sounds as if your fluid is low. Level plug is really awkward and the proper fluid expensive but worth it. That would be first check, then put it on diagnostics to see if a solenoid is faulty. Does the HDC lamp come up when the ' box is miss behaving?
thanks I will check the fluid, there was a sign came up I was going to look it up, also when I put it in sport mode it didnt work it just changed as auto..
