Notalot wrong with Jeep as far as I'm concerned ... Bro-in-law had a 4.0 Cherokee with a few bits on it. Family farm near Crich so he used to play a lot with it ..
He still has Jeep but now it's a new Grand Cherokee S, which is a bit newer and never goes off-road ..

Thanks to everyone thats shown interst since the recce was done, but im afraid that it just wouldnt be practical to add another group to this trip, during the recce chapelgate was packed with ramblers and cyclists and that was just a normal weekend so as you can imagine august bank hol weekend will be flooded with them.
If we get time to sort another before Christmas then I'll gladly sort it because alot of these lanes would be very good during wet / snowy weather, so again id just like to say thanks for the added interest and for those lucky devils on the trip already then i can assure you that you'll have a great time with us.

That was partly down to a big organised cycle challenge going on... so not exactly a 'normal' weekend...
not that i disagree, and chances are some ramblers association or cycle club will organise something for the b/h too.

I have been sorting the route for the main run have taken in a few more lanes like the one by chapel john was telling me about, but unless you want a realy short day on the sunday we will still be doing those gravel tracks that we did last time, but if we have no break downs BAZ:rolly: i have added about 15 more lanes so lots to do and see, one thing that would speed things up and also make it more interesting is going up stanage if we can??

If its ok with you i can make it Sunday even if its just for half a day gives the young lad a day out looks like you will have room with some only doing Saturday
