I have now ordered some 4x Geolanders. As for the VCU it had one fitted recently (probably because of the odd tyres) and a drive shaft so hopefully once I change them it should be Ok with luck.

Have you looked at there warranty? Basically no warranty at all. There are alot of others out there with a milage warranty, and road hazard warranty. For close to the same price. It is amazing someone would buy them.

Yokohama Tires

The exclusions list cars registered outside the USA?

There is a UK warranty iirc but the tyres need to be supplied and filled by an authorised tyre fitter andbe cchecked annually. Tyre warranties are useless.

I always had Cooper tyres fitted my Ford Maverick. I had my local tyre stockist supply and fit them. They told me that they can't supply a the accidental damage warranty because they weren't an authorised fitter. I never had a problem with Cooper tyres and they last well at around 30K a set. The milage warranty doesn't appear to apply in the UK and they will only pay a proportion of the replacement cost for accidental damage, they don't pay for valves or ballance ether. This info came off the Cooper Web page. Yokohama have no warranty and I've never implied they did. It's a tyre and and life happens to them ;)
