lifted all the flat paint work and it now has a nice shine lol
all that is left to do now is fit and find a low profile roof rack have my mate install alarm imobiliser and tracker
shes booked in for her mot on friday and i hope she will be on the road ready for the southern pub meet on the 5th as i live in odiham looking forward to putting some faces to names lol
oh its a 2.5td swb 90
fingers crossed for friday and hope to see some of you soon :)

here are a few pics let us know what you think :)
in pic 8 you can see where i replaced the alpine glass for a grp product that i make at work it needed doing cos the last owner reversed the landy into a tree and ripped the window out using thus armourtuff that i made was just the job its a bitch to work with but is almost inderstructable i have fired .22rf rounds at it from 50 yards and it just makes lumps in it lol, not that i want the landy to be abussed like that of course!!!!
hope you enjoy :)

Ohh..thats bloody nice!!

Where you get the locking fuel cap from..i STILL cant find one!!

haddoks they were in the web special they were £8.50 ish hope that helps mate just a thought waht do you think a landy like this one would be worth now ?

Cheers..i'm not sure they will fit a 90 from 1984 with the huge dustbin lid type unlockable cap..

As for value..always a tricky one..compare it to what the market is willing to give at the mo on ebay, autotrader etc...

After so much time and effort why are you even thinking about value??

Looks bloody nice that. Just wondering why you didn't treat it to a tdi engine instead of rebuilding the original one??? No offence ment by that:D

Yeah I was wondering why that's on the bonnet, don't like the look of those big-ass bolts sticking out of it either

just a thought would it have been better to mount the hilift to the rear resting it on the bumperettes and mounting brackets vertical?

not that its wrong on the bonnet i just dont like it there personally..tidy job on the rest tho

thanks guys for the replys

the big ass bolts will only be there for a few more days i have to weld them then cut them flush with the nuts stop them being undone by theiving scroats :)

i was toying with the idea of mounting the hilift to the back but did not fancy it getting caught on something i could not see when off roading and loseing the rear quater if it got snaged up just my opinion lol so i mounted it on the bonnet i hope i will see anything that gets in front of me lol :D

i would have loved to put a tdi lump in there but funds were not good enough have started savin for one now :):)

as a noob im glad it meats with the olds on here tryed to keep it reel lol
regards to you all
