Hi
Has anyone purchased a gearbox and/or a transfer box from Ashcroft Transmissions and, if so, how was your experience and would you recommend them.?

Ashcroft are the accepted specialists for LR transmissions. They know their stuff and provide an outstanding service.

Yes and no issues. They’re pretty much the gold standard in this regard.

I haven't had one of their gearboxes but I have their 'own brand' limited slip diffs. Came quickly, nicely made, easy to fit and no problems.

I had one of their R380's fitted recently and the whole process was faultless.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to other LR owners.
I will add that they didn't fit it though. They arranged to send it to a garage in Kendal and they fitted it for me.
Already considering a new transfer box using the same process
