You obviously haven't tried the link I gave you which contains all the infor you wanted including a cutaway drawing
Again it is you Datatek that is miss reading or the likes. As I said above:
...see if they had any cut-away drawings of the Gen II's to see if the lower was the same as the Gen III's.
That page on RangeRovers.net covers the GEN IIIs and not the GEN IIs which are the ones I was asking if they had the same lower piston design as the Gen IIIs.
Anyway, already got an answer from the factory, it looks like they don't. Here is what I got back from them:
"...With regard to your inquiry; The lower piston design on the Arnott Gen III is CNC machined aluminum. The lower piston design on the Arnott Gen II is plastic, similar to the OEM. If choosing the Gen III, it is recommended to replace in pairs due to the ride difference, whereas the Gen II is designed more for the OEM ride feel. Excellent questions..."
