MOT due in a couple of weeks and in true Disco style a few things don't work. Can anyone please confirm whether any of these are an MOT fail.

1. Passenger window doesn't open.
2. Headlamp washers don't work.
3. Rear passenger door can't be opened from outside.

I have had the parts to fix 1 & 3 for a month but just not getting the time and so I thought I would send car in as is but not if any of these were a fail.

No 3 is a fail.

Yep No. 3 definate fail all doors must open from inside and outside

And dont forget the basic one of all....make sure you got water in the washer bottles and ya washers work ???? suprising the amount to cars fail cos of no water

Is the headlight washer not working a defo fail..... On no better get under and have a look at that one

how can it fail on a headlight washer most cars dont have them i agree with oldskool, pillock

You asked if they were a defo fail
As already said THEY ARE NOT A FAIL they are not checked on MOT PILLOCK

take rear seats out, means a few things don't get tested ;-)

only front doors need to open from inside and out rears only need to open to examine seat belt pescribed areas ect head lamp washers and side windows not tested

is it the door lock sticking causing the door not to open ?

If so unlock car, leave it unlocked, door will then open, = Mot pass !

Is your steering box leaking ?
Rust inner arches, sills, boot floor ?

I think your little list might be the least of your worries on a disco
