Effortless

Hi Folks,

I hope some of you can help.

I have bought a 16" Kenlowe fan for my Series II 2.25 petrol in a moment of stupidity, and have found that the fan motor housing protrudes too far back to allow it to fit in front of the water pump, i.e. the fan belt pulley fouls it. I want to fit the fan behind the radiator as I want to use the space in front of the radiator to fit a military oil cooler.

Question is: is there a water pump available to fit the 2.25 petrol with a shortened spigot??

Hope you can help

Effortless.

I don't know if there's a shorter spigot available but my kenlowe had to fit forward of the rad for the same reason.

Regards WP.

i am sure the kenlowe for a series is designed to fit in front of the rad and therefore fitting it behind will make it inefficient. you cannot reverse the polarity either as the fan blades are set in a way so that they only work one way

it will be working backwards if it is designed to fit in front. and as yella says - reversing polarity wont help.
