I just got the safeTpedal (google it) and thought the same thing, sits quite loose on the brake pedal. Think it's ment to be like but I did notice it wasn't as snug as I would have thought.

Well yes, I know the feeling. My Disklok isn't as tight on my steering wheel as I'd like it to be either. Maybe it's because I'm getting old . . .

Surely if the disclock was tight on your steering wheel it could just be used as extra leverage to snap the steering lock?

I recon I could get this ARDCASE off, would have to bend things but for £150 it should of had two locks making it more secure. Not Impressed.

Ideally it needs to have little movement on it but still be loose enough that it turns freely

Should have bought the folding X-Eng pedal security :D much neater and your more likely to use it

Just looked at the x-eng security products - they all look very good!
Like the way the pedal cover is permanent and folds back over the floor!

Might have to get 1 of those, cheers

Have you got one G?

I was looking at one myself. ive seen the other types and agree they dont seem that secure.

Maybe so. But it's a bit disturbing being able to do a 3 point turn with the Disklok in situ by putting your hands round the back and turning the spokes. Amazes your friends though.

Same here! The thing just locks very loosely around the brake pedal stem (not the others) and can be moved about all over the place. From the way the plate has been sculpted, I was given to believe it would be a snug fit.

No offence to the makers if Ive missed something, but Jesus! Is it really meant to be so slack??

It feels like it could be just be torn off if you really put your back into it. At least the Clutch Claw it rock solid around two of the pedals. A variation of the Clutch Claw fitted with a front plate would be good.

Am I missing something regarding the SafeTPedal??

I think that's just how they are mate, I'm going to modify mine so it sits a bit tighter when I get time. I still can't get my hand fully behind the steel plate though and certainly can't drive away with it on so will do for now. I don't like the clutch claw as its so easy to cut the bottom of the pedals off and drive away on stumps, with the safeTpedal this would be much harder-but still possible which is a bit of a **** take.

The safeTpedal ones are designed to be a little loose, not every vehicle is the same and they are designed to fit them all, mine wobbles a bit but there is no way your getting it off in a hurry...
