I have a handful of lanes from the peak district but they're all South East, has anyone any knowledge near Stalybridge? I'm going tomorrow for a day in the Archery club, wouldn't mind some small lanes near by to round off the day before I come home?

And no I don't have an OS map for the area (Yes I know how to use an OS map), I don't have Trailwise... I'm just looking for a light guide on any OS references I could put into my map program.

Check this based on a 5km radius of Stalybridge. There are no routes legally driveable to the West or North.

NOTE: .... Check the map key. Only the Brown and Black marked routes are legally driveable, the Purple and Blue routes are NOT legal to drive. The grey routes are either unknown or extinguished so again, probably not legal to drive.

I've not driven them and don't have time to check their suitability via Trailwise, but the info is probably in there ..

Cheers Paul, that helps a lot. I may have a look at the ones in hollingsworth on the way back! I'll let you know how I get along and if they look okay to drive

Good luck with the ones in Hollingworth are not worth driving ....not much else worth bothering with either anymore .
