Aye, I've watched a few of his vids .... :) He seems right enough - though I wouldn't fancy living with all the salt the put on the roads over winter in Quebec  Think my D1 would dissolve while I was watching :eek::eek:

For a few months now, I've been watching this guy's Youtube channel. Have a look - Britannic Restorations

He's British but now has a small workshop in Qubec. Quite entertaining and lots of info. for fixing your Land Rover

I've been watching him for ages, I am waiting for him to finish the Vortec conversion currently, the miss firing 2.5 n/a was interesting viewing.

Another one on my watch list is the chuckee2009 welding channel, he is a hay farmer now but it was fun to watch him grow up from a spotty teen doing a welding qualification through college to his money making projects and moving to Texas.

Chuckee2009! I've watched him too. He was quite young at the time. I'll look him up again.

I reckon we should promote Mike at Britannica Restorations and get him some more viewers. Maybe even sort out a group buy for his modified clutch forks. Not that I need one but I'm sure plenty will. I feel I owe him something for the ongoing tuition!

I'm waiting for his t-shirts.

Yup, I watch him too. Shame the raccoon decided to leave, but probably just as well, I doubt an adult would have been a tolerable pet.
His analysis of Defender door seal suppleness was interesting. The 2.5 is still not running right.

Just found this blokes Videos recently , he is Good Very Good, Sometimes think he is really James Martin in Disguise, he is that good. :)
His vids are easy to follow, as he takes his time in explaining things.

Just seen one if his vids and he seems really watchable and very knowledgeable.
Bookmarked for future viewing. :)

I've been watching Mike for years! He needs more Discos on his channel. ;)
Anyone who can sit and talk Land Rovers while petting a raccoon is a bad ass in my book. lol

Sadly due to North American (inc Canada) import regs Mike never gets to work on a TD5. He sees plenty of 200 and 300 Tdis, but his Discos are always V8.

Only one I have seen is him stripping and rebuilding a PAS box. It was brilliant. A very, very clever man.

Yeah I have been binge watching lately. Landy Lee put me back onto him.......

I've seen all his vids. I've learnt a lot from his 90 restoration series. He even did a video on my request the other week, the sill fitting vid.

Your moment of fame!
I like the way he works - sometimes seemingly bumbling along sometimes pure genius.:D

I too would cringe at all the salt they have to deal with!
