If I hadn't moved far far away from there many years ago! Have a go at it your self, just get all new bolts and fittings so you can just chop them off and not have to fight them.

Do you know what bolts I will require? I will gather everything I need.

Depends on the condition of things on the vehicle, usually need front turret rings and nuts to go with. Will probably need bolts that hold spring retainers on to the axle too, possibly even the retainers themselves. Rear shock upper mounts can be seized, if you snap it you'll need a new one and probably the bolts that hold it on too, but if it comes apart easy enough then you won't, just a new nylock nut if you use heat. If you want to do a full belt and braces job then get all these things and you won't be stuck but obviously it costs more.

Do you have extended brake flexis too? What about bump stops? some people like to replace these with a lift but it's a debatable subject.

There's some good how-to guides on here, have a look at them and see what's recommended and talked about, it will all help you :)

Could be Stourbridge in the midlands too. OP, put your location in your user settings.

To be fair if you don't want to have a go at a lift kit you've got no chance with the rest that will go wrong! it's not hard.

West midlands yes.

Also ivd done a fair bit of welding, boxing my sills etc so I have a go at anything but I'd rather pay somebody who's done a few than wrestle with rusty bolts and take ages.
