109inches

Looking at getting parabolics for my 109 truck cab with canvas rear tilt. Don't often carry or tow stupid amounts but fairly regularly firewood and fencing or Land Rover parts bought on eBay.

I've been looking at Sanderson leaf springs they make parabolic leaf springs for everything from trailers, to transit vans and land rovers. The reviews I've read on their website seem to imply good quality as well as the way they are manufactured. But has anyone actually tried them either for a 109 or 88? Don't want them to sag as soon as I fit them. They'll be working along with pro comp +2" gas shocks.

Must confess Iv'e never heard of them. You may be on to something good but I would wait to see if any feedback from the Landie Boys.
GB Springs usually get the nod on here.

I've read reviews on short wheel base springs saying they are very well made and that the service is excellent. However I haven't seen a long term review. The price is £360 for a 109 including u bolts and £320 for a swb.
They are made in the midlands here in the UK and they claim 30 years experience. But any company can talk themselves up.

I would feel safer going with GB. See if the next few days gives a positive response.

Didn't GB have issues with quality a couple of years back? Also can't see prices on the GB website. Dunno what's best to go for in terms of how many leaves at the back. It's a 109 truck cab with 3/4 tilt. Fairly often carry logs and fencing in the back and occasionally tow as much as 2-3 tonnes. But is also unladen often. Carry a spare wheel in the back along with a high lift Jack, rear bench seat, gallon of fuel, bottle Jack, towing rope, shackles, and a gallon of water.

GB are roughly the same price. They come with 2 spring fronts and 3 spring rears

I'm not sure if gb springs and Sanderson springs are made at the same place. As the springs and markings on the springs are identical and I believe both are made in Birmingham

If anyone's interested Sanderson leaf springs are just suppliers of GB Springs. For the same price and free next day delivery. As GB springs wanted £360 plus extra for delivery I bought them from sandersons at £360 with free next day delivery. Plus you can buy them off eBay instead of over the phone which I found more appealing.

Hi,

I frequently use Sanderson Leaf Springs and have never had any issues with them! Always has delivered on time and not bad prices either :)
