I just watched this guy putting some upgrades onto his Disco 2, then went to his channel to see what else he has done, as the video was 5 years old and came across this!

He wanted to test some new tyres, so put them on his Peugeot 205. Then followed his mate in HIS modified Disco 2 along some VERY muddy, wet and rutted tracks.
Frankly it's embarrassing to see far it got!

There are subtitles for those of you who don't speak foreign

Which proves my point when i see these 4x4's with massive lifts and comedy tyres.

Truth is stock vehicles will get just as far with an experienced driver..
how if the ground clearance needed to get through mud ruts I’d say 16”would a standard vehicle with an experienced driver get through with say 10” of clearance, if there’s no room to straddle the ruts. The truth is they wouldn’t, and I see it regularly when standard vehicles with muds try to follow some of the modded trucks

I've seen a few lifted 4x4's dig themselves into some pretty bad situations

one benefit of EAS on some LR's

It would be some eas system if it lifted it the extra 6” I gave in the example. Also eas only lifts the chassis so any axles are still low down, but that’s where the ‘comedy’ tyres come in.

Can someone tell me what size wheels and tyres I can put on my Peugeot 205?
If you watch the video then go to his channel, in one of his other videos he shows how he raised the suspension to fit his big tyres. My only experience with Peugeots was a 205GTi back in the day and my mother's current 206 TDi. Both had/have standard tyres.
