:confused:hi
ok heated seats, striiped both seats repaired broken elements, warmer thermostats, an all has been fab.

now the drivers seat is still fine but the heater on the passenger seat stoppe working, checked the heating elements for continuity, alls fine, checked all plug connections all ok,. lumber and all movements work aok. on pressing the heater switch on the hevac i can hear a relay click so thats working.

the hawkeye tells me that there is no communication with the left hand seat outstation.

no i have stripped the seat and there is no outstation under there just wires and relays, so where is it, and how come the other functions all work ok, if thers no communiction to the seat,

anybody got any ideas please.

Heated seats are powered direct from the BECM. Fuse 2 (30 AMPS) no relays involved as far as i can see.

Hi, have got the same problem with my drives seat, getting power to passenger seat but not drivers seat. I have spoken to a chap that posts on this forum and others and he seems to known a lot about RR electrics and the BECM, he tells me that there is a twin relay in the BECM that.powers the seats and lts possible one side of the relay has failed. Hope this sheds some light on your issue. Paul.

That may possibly be the case and is highly likely, just no relay is shown on diagrams. Just an electrical control unit, which could of course contain relays.
