They are for headlight grills, but for the life of me I cannot locate some for the other wing

You sure they aren't just bolts somebody's drilled and tapped?
What's the other end like?
And what are they made out of!
 
I would say they are home made as they do not appear in the parts and accessories catalogues I have here.
 
I recognise those so I just spent some time searching on google but came up with nothing. Are they also used on the grille mounting to the front panel?
 
That vehicle is by Startec in Germany.

The headlights are Noldens which Land Rover are using in the final run out editions of the Defendars

I've seen something like those fittings in the past too. Can't for the life of me think what they're called.
The closest I can think of is similar to a "Rivnut" where the fitting is pressed into the sheet metal.
