We, my girl and I
My parents in law are here at the campsite also but drive a huge campervan. Up hill we where with a singel car. It was mostly greenlaning, with some minor severe parts in it

John m70,

Didn't think of that, can look online to find some it's a narrow road through the fields and Forrest. It's a one way track

Contacted @tombankes for any info on local suppliers and waiting for a reply. He isn't coming up on member search which isn't a good sign but hopefully we'll hear back.

Can't recommend a lone recovery attempt with the amount of info we have.

I can't understand really why I got stuck in the first place, got 3 wheels on the ground but no grip, had this before and with some digging and some stones under the tires it got me loose.

Never the less, the road towards the car isn't bad at al (bit moist) and the car is from the back good accessible with a good 4x4 and terrain tires. Me was thinking to get it out backwards and stop the compressor. Or blank compressor output to the leaking air spring. Then a 25m back the car can be turned and slowly back the way we came.

Find a farmer with a tractor, if the campsite is close ask them if they know anyone, they should get you out, back on the road then you can use recovery if needed or try to repair, sorry I am not closer but am about 6 hours away
good luck, most of the land rover parts people will post to France, parts are a lot cheaper and normally arrive in 2 to 3 days

Hi, just thought to look on LZIR bit of the forum.
I am not near you, but agree with @Ianm re get a tractor to pull you out to where you can drive, then drive carefully to the nearest road then use your recovery company. Glad you found a Land Dealer.
There was a thread on the Disco part of the forum today or yesterday about sealing off the pipe to the bag, and'or the pump maybe recognising it is out and simply carrying on as best as poss, but I am not an authority and have springs.
PM me if you need a translator. Found this https://groupesva.fr/#gap but you've probably also found it. DON'T FORGET A FRENCH GARAGE IS SUPPOSED TO OFFER YOU SECONDHAND PARTS IF YOU WANT THEM. "pieces d'occasion" is French for secondhand parts, so even this expensive looking joint should do them. If not you want a "Casse" which is a car breakers. I'll look further into this for you.

When parts arrive I'll get it fixed, or take it to the 4x4 garage nearby (closed today) A tractor would do but not a very big one though.
Thanks for thinking along, my French is rather bad so I might pm you if they don't speak English.

So are you near the D944, NE of Gap? If so it is the Pont-du-Fossé that I have just found on google maps. Nearestv LAnd Rover breakers I have found are in Valréas about 2 1/2 hours away from you, or Avignon nearly 3 hours away. Don't know if it is worth it, but they may post the part to you, phone numbers are on the website I just put up for you.
Camping Hautes Alpes: Camping Le Diamant
is this it? If so, found it on google maps.
