Hi guys

I will soon be buying a defender 300tdi or disco 200/300tdi rear axle complete and just asking does anyone have any idea how much one of these axles weigh please

Id reckon around the 70kg mark roughly. Possibly more but could just be that they are awkward to carry that it feels so heavy

I'd say 100kg+ with the diff. Not nice to shift about at all.
Do yourself a favour and remove the diff if you can.
