Peeps, what do you have? they can be as rough as you like as long as they are a pair and more importantly FREE! In an ideal world you'd be in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambs or North Essex, that said though please get in contact anyway.

I'm really after them just for the seat runners.

What you going to weld them to?

If you don't get any offers, I'd have thought a mank pair from a breakers wouldn't cost to much - lets face it lots of cloth Freelander seats are munted.

I'm another who's looking to have height adjustable seats. I have been thinking about it trying this for a while now and today I picked up a set of donor seats (which still might create some other headaches)

I won't say much more than that as I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. My favourite scrappies has just closed and the other one close to me won't give anything away cheap.

Given that I have "traded up" to a Suzuki with adjustable seats I can safely say the freelander seats are miles better for my back. and longer /wider and more supportive

I agree they are comfy, I did a 300 mile round trip on Wednesday with no aches or pains. My problem is I'm 6ft 1 and my head almost touches the roof and my view is the top few inches of the windscreen. A slightly lower seat base would also make it easier to get in and out of the car.
