Anyone have a idea what's this plastic ?

It is stamped PA, which would leave me to believe it is Polyamide, which is the name for Nylon, whether it is Nylon 6 or 66 etc, is an unknown.

Is there anything stamped on the reverse side?

Pretty sure that prong goes into the carpet and the other side is located into the hole in a floor mat to keep it from riding up towards the pedals. They usually come in pairs.

EDIT: PS, do I win a fiver? :D
