i am thinking of getting the td5alive ecu chip mod (stage 1) anyone had this done, is it a noticeable improvement on the stock ecu settings.
anyone used the nano com software to "acquire a tweaked copied! ecu for educational purposes. i am not after a fancy ecu remap, just an improvement on the original more power and better mpg. you see lots of downloadable ecu remaps for sale ...are these any good or are you just buying a heap of trouble, you can save out your original map so i guess you can always go back to stock settings if all else fails,,,, just a thought.
are the ecu maps car specific or does one size fit all ,,,so to speak,
