A BMW one will not fit a 1986 Toyota MR2. Parts prices are a scandal over here, up to 4 times the price you would pay in the UK. Alternator, here €240 exchange, same product in the UK £98 or less no exchange. I've found one for £50 just negotiating on shipping.
