20160801_135610.jpg 20160801_135711.jpg 20160801_135610.jpg Hello everyone first post (probably not last) from a noobie. I have fitted a towbar and the 12n electrics on my 06 freelander and came across another plug (unused) and was wondering if anyone knew what it's for and could it be for the 12s set up. I think I read that the freelander 2 has this and wondered when it was added? Hope this makes sense. Cheers Jim.

Oh well, it's not going to be the easy way for me to connect the 12s socket then. Cheers for the input from you all.
It's not very difficult to fit 12S wiring to the Freelander. You will need to run a couple of cables front to back but the Freelander isn't difficult to strip for such activities;)

My 56 plate has a plug behind the right hand rear panel for the tow bar electrics, it was actually located on the inside of the inner skin, genuine tow bar electrics just plugged straight in.
