I've had a few people message me over the past few weeks on the company Facebook page as well as on here asking about the backbox and so on.
I've shown them photos I took of Jamie's (JC600) smaller custom backbox that he had made, and the response has been largely positive.

His is mild steel, but I would prefer to do them stainless, longer lasting for not much more money in real terms.

This is probably only relevant to the off road/laning boys and girls, but would there be much interest? I don't know what price they would be, but not particularly expensive, depends really on how much interest there would be as to how cheap I could make them.

What type of silencer is it. Straight through, single or multi pass, baffled or constriction type?

Normally turbo diesels make less exhaust noise than a NA petrol. The exhaust turbine acts as an efficient silencer.
The 1.8 Freelander would make most noise with a straight through silencer.
My V6 wouldn't be to loud I wouldn't think. Of course the V6 sounds best of any Freelander!! ;)

i'd be interested ( td4 )
if it's definitely a straight thru type

OK lets start a list, I like lists. If we give it til after the weekend for people to show interest, I'll go see my favourite local exhaust place early next week. Not quite the V8 racing Corvette's and rally cars they normally build, but still :D
