Ignore the bickering children.
I am just going through the waxoyl exercise on my 90, this my plan of attack.
Get underneath with a cold chisel and attack the chassis front to back out riggers, cross members the lot.
If you knock any holes in it, or even dent it cut out the bad and weld in new.
Using a selection of wire brushes scrapers or any other tools to hand remove as much rust, old paint and accumulated crap as possible from the underside of the vehicle including the chassis, floor, suspension and axles.
Pressure wash the underside as thoroughly as you can.
Leave the car under cover to dry out completely.
Wire brush the underside again.
Paint chassis rails, outriggers and cross members with Bonda rust primer with zinc.
Spray hammerite underseal with waxoyl using a schutz gun all over the chassis as above.
Spray waxoyl over entire underside, avoiding the brakes (obviously) using the schutz gun, filling the cans with waxoyl from a big can.
Spray waxoyl into all the chassis cavities again using the schutz gun this time with a flexible lance, you might find the need to dilute the waoxyl with 25% white spirit to maximise penetration into joints and the crap which will inevitably have built up in the chassis.
Bonda primer £11 a litre you will need 2 litres
Hammerite underseal with waxoyl in 1 litre schutz cans £8 you will need 3
Waxoyl 5 litre cans £26 you will need 2
Schutz gun £18 from Machine mart.
It will take three or four days work spread out for the drying time.
Get paper overalls, dust masks, gloves and goggles. You will get absolutely filthy.
Good luck.
Mine should be finished when I get back to it on Sunday, might even stick some photos on here.
