I've never come across a Renault diesel that goes forever.

The 02 and 03 ones are a disaster, early common rail ones. After 06 they got much better but they got such a bad reputation then (like k series) the dci are scorned. Yet look at the 1.5 dci and 1.9 dci still going strong plus they use the 1.9 dci in the suzuki in the master and as long as it gets regular oil changes.

Injectors are a weak point definitely and give most of the hassle, 90k most guys just refurbished them now. They are hugely popular in Irish taxi scene maybe more so than the likes of Skoda but in the Renault Master van form.

Cheaper than doing a kv6 timing belt at least lol
